How do you know when your breasts are full?
Some mums experience a big oversupply, enough to feed twins or even triplets!
Your breasts might be leaking and will be painful if not drained properly. Once your milk supply is well established, leaking might decrease or cease. Your breasts will make milk when needed – thus feeling softer to the touch.
Your breasts will begin to feel less full and softer after 6-12 weeks from birth. At this later stage they will feel uncomfortably full and heavy again only if you have gone a long time without feeding.
