The Terms and Conditions govern the use of the MumsLikeUs. By agreeing to abide and be bound by MumsLikeUs.ie Terms and Conditions, you agree to use MumsLikeUs in accordance with the following Rules. Registration Terms Please read these terms of use carefully. If you proceed to use this site, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using this site. This Site is operated by MumsLikeUs. Access to this Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and MumsLikeUs reserves the right to withdraw or amend the site without notice (see below). MumsLikeUs will not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

2. The site and its contents are designed to comply with Irish laws and regulations and are intended for use by Irish residents only. MumsLikeUs make no warranty or representation that any information contained in this site is relevant or appropriate to other locations.

Neither MumsLikeUs or any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the site is liable (to the fullest extent permitted by law) for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive loss or damages, loss of income or revenue, loss of profits or contracts, loss of data or any other loss arising out of your access to, or use of, the site. MumsLikeUs will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of this site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.
16. These terms are governed by Irish law and Irish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and any suit, action or proceedings will be brought in such courts.
Forum Terms:
These Rules and the Terms and Conditions govern the use of the MumsLikeUs forum. By agreeing to abide and be bound by MumsLikeUs.ie Terms and Conditions, you agree to use MumsLikeUs forum in accordance with the following Rules.
1. No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be polite and constructive, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
2. No objectionable or unlawful content: harassing, abusive, defamatory, harmful, threatening, obscene, sexually oriented, racially offensive, profane, or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
3. Contributions must be civil, tasteful, relevant and genuine.
4. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute material which is off-topic in subject-specific areas. No spamming: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times.
5. No advertising or promoting of any kind.
6. No impersonation or misrepresentation of your identity or affiliation with any third party.
7. Do not use inappropriate (e.g. offensive, vulgar, etc) user names.
8. You may add URL's to the forum - but these must not link to sites containing off-topic material or be of an obscene nature.
9. No material must be posted for which you have not obtained all necessary consent, licences, or approvals.
10. No material must be posted that is in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or duty of confidence.
11. We will not be responsible as author, editor or publisher of any contribution and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the forum by any person in contravention of these Rules. We reserve the right to promptly remove, or to disable access to, any contribution.
Moderation policy:
1. All of the discussion forums, user generated content on this site employ a post-moderation strategy, which means that all posts are checked against the discussion rules and acceptable use of comments policy as outlined above, after they are published.
2. All videos and photos employ a pre-moderation strategy, which means that they are checked against the discussion rules and acceptable use of comments policy as outlined above, before they are published.
3. We do not censor participants' opinions. All comments will be published unless they are in breach of the above rules.
4. Topics are actively moderated by MumsLikeUs employees and their representatives.
5. Forums are readable at all times and users can submit a post at any time.
6. A variety of information, advice, recommendations, messages, comments, posts, text, graphics, software, data, and other materials ("content") is available on the site. Some of the content is provided by MumsLikeUs and other content is provided by persons who use the site ("users"), such as videos, photos, user opinions and views provided. MumsLikeUs strives to keep the content that we post on the site accurate, complete, and up-to-date, but we cannot guarantee, and are not responsible for, the accuracy, integrity, quality, completeness, timeliness, or that it will not be objectionable to you, of any content whether provided by ourselves or by users.
7. We accept no liability for data supplied by any user for display on the Site and the limitations in conditions above (exclusions of liability) apply.
8. If you submit data for display on the site, you are responsible for ensuring that the data is accurate, complete and up-to-date and for updating that data where necessary.

11. Neither MumsLikeUs nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages arising out of advice given. For all specific medical advice, please consult your own doctor or health advisor. Using your posts:

1. For safety and security reasons, we advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else. This could be, for example: a telephone number, home address or email address. If you have a useful address to share, please inform the host of the forum area using the 'Contact Us' link, and they will promote it if they deem it appropriate. Please do not include postal addresses of any kind.
About the law:
1. Defamatory or illegal material of any kind may not be submitted in to any MumsLikeUs forums. This includes: graphics, text, video, programs or audio downloads.
2. Contributing material, with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act, is strictly prohibited.
3. You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not plagiarise, violate, or infringe the rights of third parties. This includes: copyright, trade secrets, trade mark, publicity, privacy, personal or proprietary rights.
4. The views featured in the MumsLikeUs forum areas come from members of the public. They are not necessarily those of Nutricia or its affiliates.

1. Please get a parent's or guardian's permission before taking part in any discussion.
2. MumsLikeUs advise parents and guardians, who permit persons under 18 years to use the forum, to communicate to them about safety online.
3. Minors who are using the forum should be made aware of the potential risks to them and of their obligation to comply with these Rules.
4. Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else, such as a: telephone number, home address or email address.
If you breach these Terms of Use:
1. Failing to abide by these Rules when taking part in our forum, constitutes a material breach of the terms of use on which you are permitted to take part in the forum. This will result in you being sent an email which informs you as to why your contribution has been failed, edited, removed or suspended. This email will also warn you that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against you.
2. This action may include your registration log in account being placed into pre-moderation or a temporary or permanent suspension. This will prevent you from participating in any or all of the MumsLikeUs forum areas.
3. If you post or send offensive or inappropriate content, or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on MumsLikeUs, and we consider such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, we may use whatever information that is available about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school or email provider about the infringements.
4. We reserve the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.
5. We reserve the right to disclose information regarding your contribution to any law enforcement agency as we reasonably feel is necessary or as is required by law.

Forum house rules:
1. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome on our forums. So always be polite and respectful towards others. If you consider someone is being offensive or rude in any way, please report it.
2. Try not to post messages that aren't in any way relevant to the topic at hand. If there's something else you want to talk about, you can always start a new discussion by creating a new thread.
3. Keep your messages clear and easy to read. When you're online and not face to face with people, it's easy for misunderstandings or ambiguities to arise. So please read and check your messages before you post them on the boards.
4. Be conscientious regarding your privacy. Your profile and messages are 'out there' on the web for anyone to see. So take care in what you say about yourself or others. Never, for instance, post your phone number, address or bank details.
5. By using this MumsLikeUs website, you are accepting our terms and conditions which will govern your use of the website and we recommend you read them prior to such use. So to ensure you're familiar with them it's worth reading them now if you haven't done so already.
Interactive tools
1. You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of the Birth Planner, Routine Chart and Breastfeeding Tracker.
2. You acknowledge and agree that the tools are not intended as a substitute for parental monitoring. You are responsible for any decisions regarding the care of your child and you should not make any child care decisions based solely on the information included on the tools, Routine Chart and birthday plan. The tools are provided solely as a convenience item for record keeping purposes and should not be relied on as the sole means or method for monitoring your child's activities or personal habits.
3. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through use of the tools is done at your own risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage done to your computer or loss of data that results from such activity.
4. Mother-to-be: This birth plan is intended to express the preference and desires we have for the birth of our baby. It is not intended to be a script. We fully realise that situations may arise such that our plan cannot and should not be followed. However, we hope that barring any extenuating circumstances, you will be able to keep us informed and aware of our options.
5. In no event shall MumsLikeUs publishing be liable for special, indirect, exemplary or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, loss of use, data, or profits, without regard to the form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence, or other tortuous actions, all arising out of or in connection with the use, copying, or display of the contents of this site or files downloaded from it.
6. In an effort to provide our customers with the most current information, MumsLikeUs will, from time to time, make changes in the contents and in the products or services described on this site.
Competitions
1. Danone Baby Nutrition’s decision in relation to selection of prize winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of a competition the decision of NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED will be final.
3. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED competitions are not open to staff of NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED, their immediate family members or associated companies including (but not limited to) the competition promotional partner(s) and SMS/IVR service provider(s).
4. Unless otherwise stated, competition entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in the island of Ireland in order to qualify as the prize winner. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED reserves the right to request written proof of age of any competition winner.
5. Prizes are non transferable and will only be awarded to the winner.
6. No cash alternative will be awarded in lieu of stated prize(s).
7. If, due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize becomes unavailable NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED and/or the promoter(s) reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
8. Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
9. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED and/or the promoter(s) will endeavour to deliver all prizes within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible the winner(s) will be notified of a delay.
10. Unless otherwise stated, all taxes, insurance, fees and surcharges on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11. Where a prize is to be provided by a third party, NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED accept no responsibility whatsoever for the supply or non-supply supply or delay in supply of the prize, including without limitation, the failure of the winner to receive ownership of or use the prize. Where appropriate, prize winners are required to complete all applicable booking and/or other formalities directly with the specified third party provider(s).
12. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED reserves the right to change prize details without notice and all prizes, including holiday travel dates, are subject to availability.
13. Some competitions may require entrants to take part in a programme in order to win the prize. Where this is required and where an entrant fails to take part as required or takes part but fails a subsequent test of skill which is required to win the prize, that contestant will be deemed to have forfeited their opportunity to win the prize and will be disqualified from the competition.
14. All competition entries must be received by NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED in the required format before the advertised closing date. Neither NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED nor its affiliated entities are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED promotions; fraudulent, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or altered entries; or entries which are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or other technical malfunction.
15. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a competition and/or vary competition rules at any time without prior notice.
16. Neither NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED nor its agents accept any responsibility whatsoever for any death, injury or other damage, loss, expense or liability arising as a result of taking a prize. Nor will NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in any NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED competition or any of the prizes rewarded.
17. Prizes not claimed within specified time limit will be deemed to have been forfeited and NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED may dispose of such prizes without any liability to the winner.
18. Any person found to be in disregard of these rules will be disqualified automatically.
19. NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
20. Participation in NUTRICIA IRELAND LIMITED competitions denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions and any additional competition specific terms and conditions which may be advertised.

1. Video files uploads will be accepted in the following formats: mpg, mpeg, avi, divx, mp4, flv, wmv, rm, mov, moov, asf, swf, vob, 3gp, mkv. Images will be accepted in the following formats: .jpg,.gif,.png,.jpeg,.tif.
